I Scream, You Scream

We all scream for arrowroot cookies?

Beats me, but Daniel loves them. After his meals I ask him "Do you want a cookie?" and show him the bag. He yells "Nayay nana ya!"... and keeps yelling until he's holding a cookie in his hand. And, ohhhh how he works those teeth. He takes a big ole proud bite out of that cookie like he owns it.

You tell that cookie, Daniel. You get it!

He nursed four times in a 24 hour period yesterday and again this morning. It looks like we are in the clear. He's still fussy about it and impatient, but the couple successes have given him the confidence to try again.

The fenugreek and the copious amounts of dairy I consumed yesterday seemed to do the trick on my milk supply. I tried to remember back to Daniel's first couple months and remembered eating many cheese omelets and chocolate milk shakes (though never together) and pretty much eating around the clock. I'd been neglecting my tummy this past month due to stress and self-indulgent aspirations of getting back in my size 6 jeans, which I have now resigned myself to the fact that never again will my hips allow that to happen. Hips don't lie, right?

My hips don't even try to tell stories. I'm a foot dancer. I cannot shake my hips. If you can imagine River Dancers crossed with a marionette puppet from Sound of Music dancing to "Down with O.P.P" yeah, you know me... That's me trying to dance, unless of course you let me keep my green scarf on and you never know what will happen. I believe that green scarf has now been permanently retired. Joe laughs whenever he sees it.
