When Bellies Don't Grow
When bellies don't grow,
hearts swell tears well
lips quiver and sigh.
Pull loved ones close
draw up the sheets
entangle souls and feet.
Sip pink lemonade,
Kiss cheeks and toes
Watch the garden grow.
